Seven years ago, I was diagnosed with scoliosis. Do you all know what means by scoliosis? Let me explain in simple words. Scoliosis is an abnormal curving of the spine. Your spine is your backbone. It runs straight down your back. Everyone’s spine naturally curves a tiny bit. But people with scoliosis have a spine that curves too much. The spine might look like the letter “C” or “S. When you facing this situation or others, what might be should you do?
Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life.
By having a positive mindset, it enables us to control our emotions. It can bring joy, health, and happiness to our life. Other than that, you can control your sadness and angry. So, indirectly your emotion will be going to positive. As the result, your level of distress, embarrassment, pain, and sadness will be reducing slowly.
Besides that, a positive mindset can motivate you and it can be the best therapy for yourself. You can make a deal with yourself. You can simple tell yourself something like: When I'm done with all of this, I can take a walk in the park and enjoy an ice-cream. Remember, when you have positive mindset, all will be possible.
Next, having a positive mindset can develop our self confidence and personal growth. Try to build your self confidence through new relationships. Make new friends and try to communicate. Positive mindset can guide you to be a strong, brave and confidence person and eventually you will overcome your immediate problem and find you are ready for greater challenges.
